About Us
Gentle Baking was founded by twin sisters, Macarena and Eloisa, after their daughters were diagnosed with a mix of conditions such as Celiac, IBS, and intolerance to many types of food. Their business is more than a bakery. It is a testimony of God’s provision, turning the challenge, of gluten free baking, into a gift to shear with others.
Together, the sisters spent countless hours researching, testing, and experimenting with many gluten-free flours as Eloisa felt the need to create a bread that resembled traditional gluten bread in texture and flavor. Through prayer, trial, and persistence, they developed their own blend of flours, ratios, and techniques that combined gave them what they call “the perfect gluten free bread”.
The name, Gentle Baking, reflects the careful selection of each ingredient that focuses on nutrition, allergy to gluten, digestive sensitivity, and inflammation. The company avoids ingredients such as gluten, artificial coloring, preservatives, corn, dairy, natural and artificial flavors, and Xanthan Gum.
